We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Business Development Manager with a strong background in network and cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in engaging with key decision-makers, delivering compelling presentations, and managing the sales pipeline effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in cybersecurity, including network security, endpoint security, cloud security, threat intelligence, and related solutions.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and referrals, ensuring a steady pipeline of prospects.
- Lead engaging sales presentations, product demos, and solution discussions with potential clients, showcasing the value of our cybersecurity offerings.
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and create persuasive, customized proposals to secure new business.
2.Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers (CISOs, IT Heads, CTOs, CIOs) to foster trust and maximize business opportunities.
- Conduct ongoing account management activities to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth through strategic partnerships.
- Provide post-sales support and solutions to address client challenges and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
3.Market & Industry Analysis:
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and industry innovations, ensuring that our offerings remain competitive.
- Identify key industry shifts and act swiftly to adapt sales strategies in response to evolving market conditions.
4.Collaboration & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and progress reports for senior management, ensuring transparent communication and alignment with company goals.
- Represent the company at industry events such as cybersecurity conferences, trade shows, and networking meetups to increase brand visibility and establish industry connections.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development within the cybersecurity or IT solutions industry.
- Proven experience in selling cybersecurity solutions to enterprise clients, mid-market companies, and new-age companies.
Technical & Sales Skills:
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM, SOC, identity & access management, cloud security, and threat intelligence.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in the cybersecurity or IT space.
- Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts in simple, business-focused terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Expertise in sales processes, pipeline management, and use of CRM tools.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with C-level executives.
- A consultative and solution-oriented sales approach, with a focus on problem-solving and delivering value to clients.
